Pet Rock

Pet Rock is a pet that does not need you. Hunger, happiness, and vibes sit on the screen at the same values no matter which button you press. Feed offers a snack the rock will not eat. Pet is a pat the rock will not notice. Play suggests a game the rock has already won by refusing to move. The line under the rock changes. The numbers do not.

You can give the rock a short name. The name and the day you adopted it stay in this browser. Renaming it does not reset the adoption date, and it does not change a stat. The rock does not grow, learn tricks, or ask to be checked on.

There is no account and nothing is uploaded. Leaving the page open is not care, and closing it is not neglect. The rock will be the same rock when you come back. That is the whole promise, and it is the only promise a rock is able to keep. Please do not water it.
