About this app
Typing vs Robot is a short race. You type a sentence about absurd AI news. A robot types the same sentence at a speed you pick, from 20 to 140 words per minute. Press Start race, then type in the field under the sentence. Your live words per minute and accuracy sit with the two progress bars. The robot bar moves on its own from the moment the race starts, so hesitation counts. The race ends when you finish the line or the robot does.
A results card says who finished first, plus your speed and accuracy. The best words per minute you have reached on this device is saved and shown in the header. Set a slower robot if you want a win, or a faster one if you want a lesson. Race again keeps the speed. Change speed returns you to the slider.
The field opens a phone keyboard as well as a desktop one. Wrong letters do not advance the cursor, and they do lower accuracy. There is no account and no upload. The robot does not gloat out loud. It just finishes, which is worse. The headlines are fake. The timer is not.
